Coumnageeha Farm in North Tipperary is being developed into an eco farm with visitor accomodation. Electricity will be provided by a wind turbine set on the side of the hill. Coumnageeha means the bend or curl of the wind and it is well named it is always windy. Farm hedgerows and trees will provide wood for stoves for space heating.

The existing derelict farmhouse and outhouses will be restored, energy upgraded and extended. A new four bedroom cottage will be built to passive house standard to complete the farmyard court. Eco recreational facilities including nature walks, a natural swimming pool, wood burning sauna, hot tub and a yurt camping area will provide unique experiences for visitors.
The 45 acres is under conversion into a working organic farm producing food and energy for all nature's creatures not only humans. The farm is grazed by herd of the diminutive ancient breed of Dexter cattle that originated in Tipperary.
