Rezzo is an ancient hill town in Liguria, Italy. It was almost abandoned in the 1950s as part of a general exodus fromt he countryside to the cities.
As locals and visitors rediscovered its value - it is undergoing restoration.

The project is the refurbishment of a three storey stone dwelling. Works include restoring the original features of the dwelling – the stone ‘ciappa’ roof, timber windows and doors, the ‘logia’ or external covered storage area.
The building will be insulated with hemp-lime. This is a pilot use of hemp lime in this region of Italy.
